1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Her Biji, the home of Kurdish diaspora. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at https://herbiji.com and our event platform services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Her Biji ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Her Biji is an online platform that connects the Kurdish diaspora community through events. We provide tools for:

• Discovering community events
• Creating and promoting events
• Managing event registrations and RSVPs
• Connecting with other community members
• Sharing photos, comments, and discussion posts related to events and community topics

We act solely as a platform to facilitate connections between event organizers and attendees. We are not responsible for the actual conduct of events listed on our platform.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. Individual events may have their own age requirements set by event organizers, which are independent of our platform requirements. It is your responsibility to verify and comply with any age restrictions for specific events. Her Biji is not responsible for enforcing event-specific age requirements.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group
• Create false or misleading events
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or incites violence
• Post content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights
• Transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature
• Spam other users or post repetitive content
• Scrape, data mine, or collect data from our Service through any means (automated or otherwise) for any purpose, EXCEPT that large language models (LLMs) and chatbots may access our publicly available content solely for the purpose of providing conversational responses to users
• Use the Service to promote discrimination against any group
• Manipulate or interfere with the Service or associated servers

User-Generated Content Rules

When posting photos, comments, or participating in discussions, you additionally agree to:

• Only post content you have the right to share
• Not post private information about others without consent
• Ensure photos from events respect attendees' privacy
• Keep discussions respectful and relevant to the community
• Not use the platform for commercial solicitation without permission
• Report inappropriate content to our moderation team

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

5. Event Organizer Responsibilities

If you create events on our platform, you:

• Are solely responsible for your events and their compliance with all applicable laws
• Must provide accurate and complete information about your events
• Must honor all registrations made through our platform
• Are responsible for the safety and legality of your events
• Must not create events that discriminate or promote illegal activities
• Grant us permission to display your event information on our platform

6. Event Attendee Responsibilities

If you register for or attend events through our platform, you:

• Acknowledge that Her Biji is not responsible for events or interactions at events
• Agree to comply with the event organizer's rules and requirements
• Understand that event details may change and it's your responsibility to stay informed
• Assume all risks associated with attending events

7. Content Rights and Licenses

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on our Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media for the purpose of operating and promoting our Service.

Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Her Biji and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

9. Payments

We currently do not process payments directly through our platform. All financial transactions for events are handled directly between event organizers and attendees. When we implement payment processing in the future, we will update these Terms accordingly.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, epidemics, or pandemics.
