📝 About this event
We’re proud to announce our first major KMSA event — an evening exploring the realities of healthcare for Kurds, both here in the UK and back home. Join us as Dr. Hiro Khoshnaw and Dr. Barzan Bekas share their journeys into medicine, the challenges they faced along the way, and the broader systemic barriers impacting Kurdish communities and healthcare systems today. This event is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect — and to better understand the experiences that shape Kurdish doctors and medical students across generations and across borders. 📅 Friday, 5th December 2025 ⏰ 6:30 PM 📍 King’s College London, Strand Campus We hope to see you there — let’s learn from each other and continue strengthening our community.
